Consent for the Handling of Personal Information

KP Management, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “KP Management”) will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations, as well as the guidelines established by the Personal Information Protection Commission, to properly handle the personal information that will be provided to us. Please read the following information and provide consent. The definition of the terms used below are in conformity with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations.

  1. Purpose of use

    KP Management will use the personal information provided by the customer, obtained through the use of the 3D body scanner in our facility, within the following purpose of utilization, or within the purpose of utilization that is clear in consideration of the circumstances of the acquisition of information. The information will not be used for any other purpose without the consent of the customer, or unless otherwise permitted by the applicable laws and regulations.

    • To offer our services as desired by the customer.
    • To retouch, edit, analyze and perform other work on the customer’s 3D image data, as requested and instructed by the customer as part of our services.
    • To conduct research, improvement and development of products and services.
  2. Outsourcing the handling of personal information

    KP Management may outsource the handling of the customer’s personal information to a subcontractor in order to achieve smooth operations and offer better service to our customers. The personal information to be entrusted will be minimal, as required for the outsourced work. KP Management will select a subcontractor who takes appropriate security control measures, and ensure the proper handling of personal information by entering into an outsourcing contract and exercising appropriate supervision.

  3. Provision of personal data to a third party

    KP Management will not provide the customer’s personal data to a third party without the consent of the customer, or unless otherwise permitted by the applicable laws and regulations.

  4. Arbitrariness of providing personal information

    Providing the customer’s personal information to KP Management is arbitrary. However, KP Management may not be able to offer desired products or services without the provision and acquisition of personal information.

  5. Request to disclose or take additional actions on personal data

    If KP Management receives a request from the customer or his/her agent to disclose or take additional actions on his/her personal data that we retain (notify the purpose of utilization, disclose the personal data, correct/add/delete the content, discontinue the use of data or erase the data, discontinue the provision of data to third parties), we will confirm the identity of the requester and take the requested action without delay, by following the applicable laws and regulations as well as our company regulations. If we cannot meet all or part of the request, we will notify the requester without delay.
